I am thrilled to have this opportunity to lead this book club and share about the importance of the Sacred Heart devotion. I am confident that these Twelve Promises of the Sacred Heart provide a blueprint for living a life rooted deep in love. Jesus longs to offer the world His Most Sacred Heart as a solution to all our trials and pain.
Jesus told St. Margaret Mary, “Behold this Heart, which has loved so much but has received nothing but coldness, indifference, and ingratitude in return.”
We read in scripture, “Therefore, you shall love the Lord, your God, with your whole heart, and with your whole being, and with your whole strength.” The Lord is inviting us to come to know Him and to love Him through this powerful and life-changing devotion. This devotion leads us closer to His authentic love and provides us an opportunity for a “spiritual heart transplant.” When our heart is transformed by love, we can go forth and spread that love to others.
